President Biden was in New York City on Tuesday to deliver remarks before the United Nations General Assembly. He stated that the United States was committed to a path of peace and not war with other countries, particularly focusing on China stating that the U.S. was not interested in “a new Cold War.”
President Biden highlighted the different approach to diplomatic relations under his administration saying, “We’re opening a new era of relentless diplomacy, of using the power of our development aid to invest in new ways of lifting people up around the world.” He expressed his hope and desire that other nations would be willing to partner with the United States to overcome the challenges the world faces.
